Almost a legend...
Almost there!!! Haha thanks fam!!!
for anyone who has a dave mateo Plus mod, are they super heavy? Because it seems like they would be.
It is surprisingly not too heavy. I have plenty of normal sized kendamas that are heavier, it does not wear me out when playing, and string tricks are very fun to do on mine.
cool, do you have a scale? If so how heavy is it?
The KROM BL shape blows the Prime out of the water. Maaaaaaan, such an eye opener. :o
Dude I'm reading BILLION DOLLAR WHALE about Jho Low's epic fraud of 1MDB. Insane. Do Malaysians want his head for this?
Alright if anyone is trying to sell a big batch of damas but forgot the company, try asking me. I might know it. (No guarantees)
Oh and the craft slim fish cake is where its at
The fish cake is the best craft color for sure. And I haven't tried the slim shape, but I'm sure it's honed.
So I've finally ( I've only been playing 6 months) have gotten my collection to 50 kendamas. Haha life is good
Need more damas...
Heading to Europe in the morning. Jam Night in the Krom shop on Tuesday!

Dama Dares you can put down Beginner, Intermediate or combination type tricks and I'll do my best to do them

What are some good begleri companies?
Probably get some info here: https://www.downspike.com/threads/begleri.503/
So, i'm a intermediate kendama player but i can't do bird's and that is realy frustrating for me. Any tips here?
Here’s a tip that really help me on balancing the tama on the big cup, try pinching the string with your opposite hand and hang the tama a few inches away from the Ken, then drop the tama and try to catch it on bird. Do this a few times repeatedly and add some knees and you’ll get use to holding a bird in no time. Then of course when you got that down, you have to do a real bird
What helped me was putting the tama in bird stance then taking off the tama and holding the Ken in that position then try a bird. Licking bevel helps the tama stick as well
Have a look here and make some "Kendama Bumpers" for practicing stalls. https://www.downspike.com/threads/kendama-bumpers%E2%84%A2-other-tweaks.1372/
