There used to be an option in "alert preferences" but not seeing it now.

    Try this:

Contact details > Your account > uncheck email box:

@Dæmon @7Cabbages no not tripping, I think the settings are poorly laid out.

Here are the steps to disable emails:

    1. Under "Settings > Preferences > Options" uncheck: "and receive email notifications of replies" under "Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply..."

      pref-options.png

    2. Under "Settings > Contact Details > Messaging Preferences" uncheck: "Receive email when a new conversation message is received" and check "Stop receiving email when someone you follow posts a video

      pref-conversation.png

    3. Lastly, open the forums dropdown and go to your Watched Forums and Watched Threads, select all and "With Selected... > "Disable email notification"

Yup, no email! Those options do work. Maybe they should be under alert preferences?

Is there any way to turn off vibration notices independently from the regular notices at the top of the screen?

Yes but for me I think I had to do this in my phone's application settings.

I don't seem to be able to find any more granular settings beyond these.

Also DS is the only app that puts the purple icon, rather than white, in the notification area as mentioned previously. It's also the only one that will blink my notification light blue sometimes and green others. I thought at first it had to do with whether it was an Admin or Mod answering a post but it doesn't appear to be that. By comparison notifications from FB Messenger app are green blinking but messages from inside FB Manager, which is how I manage the business pages, blinks blue; neither will blink both colors for notifications (as in either or not both at the same time).

The phone itself is set to vibrate for ring tone and all other volumes are at zero.

A signature is a simple catchphrase or small image that is at the bottom of any post you make.
You can set yours by going to Account > Signature

A signature is the tagline, graphic or other tidbit you'd like to appear at the bottom of all your posts like the "goenKendama" logo and tagline you see at the bottom of our posts. For me I try to keep them small and relatively unobtrusive; no big flashing monster graphics.

Any chance you guys could sticky the "WELCOME TO THE LUMBERYARD" post so people kind of have an idea of what's going on in there?

Is it possible to have post dates (timestamps) shown on the posts? I see thread dates listed in the thread name header but the individual posts don't appear to have dates themselves. Sometimes it's handy to see the timeline in a thread or know just how far out of the depths you're about to bring an old thread.
