It's hard to find these days. Krom stopped selling these because it cost so much to make and to ship. Some Japanese stores may have it, but the shipping might probably bludgeon you to death. (EDIT: it seems that Phil may restock more of these!)

Does anyone happen to know if those have a 1 piece ken? I've seen some large kendama where the ken was 2-3 pieces laminated.

@goenKendama I have two XXXLs, and they're both laminated, I don't know if I've ever seen one that is solid wood. Both of mine are beech, and they're slowly being destroyed from play... they're so heavy that the impact of catching tricks can do some serious damage. I'm actually hanging out with Philip from Krom this week, and we were jamming the XXXLs a couple night ago. Philip put an order in to restock them that night, so Krom will have more of them in stock in the future! (new styles too)

I'd love to get a natty XXXL, to serve as like a guest book for people who've come to our side of the world. Have them sign on the ken and tama! I'd love to bring it to KWC, but that mother weighs a ton, and takes up so much space..
