Really wanna get a Sol dama. Does anyone own a Sol flow walnut stripe, or a Sol maple vibe?
If you do can you answer some of these questions!
    Sol flow walnut stripe:
The weight of the sol flow walnut stripe?
Is it a big bigger like the flow half splits?
And what do you think of the dama?
    Sol Maple vibe:
Is the paint durable and tacky?
    What's the weight?
And what do you think about the dama?

    Thanks for your help :)))))

All the Sol Flows are sized a bit bigger than standard sized kendamas, this includes the Walnut Stripe Flow. I have one and it's really great. The weight is a bit heftier because of the size, but it's balanced very well between ken and tama, but that may/may not be the true for all other setups because of how each separate ken and tama are weighed differently from each other. But overall, if you really enjoy maple setups, especially natty maples, then you'll enjoy the Walnut Stripe Flow as well.

As for the Sol Vibes, they also are very well made setups. The paint is very durable and grippy enough to land and adjust those lighthouse and lunar tricks. There's a wide variety to choose from (but I believe only 2 or 3 are available on their site currently) and you really can't go wrong with the full maple setup either. The way the color ways are designed on each tama gives each design great tracking capabilities as well.

BONUS: Sol Pioneers on full beech setups are super good kendamas for anyone to use. Very similar paint to LOL Clear on Krom Slaydawgs and funky color ways that also enhance tracking for those spike tricks. Only 4 designs to choose from, but the simpler design lets you choose your favorite color to jam over and over.

I have much love for Sol Flows. I've had I think like 8 flows so you honestly you can never go wrong.

As for their standard size, i've had an OG pinstripe, 2 vibes, and a pioneer. Personally i'd get pioneer, you can't go wrong with that paint!

I have a maple vibe (strawberry milk). Paint is rubbery, maybe a bit similar to KUSA silk in my opinion. I think I might like the sol vibe paint a little more than KUSA, but both are very very good. Seems as durable as you'll need. Haven't weighed it.

I have 3 flows but they are not walnut stripe. So good though. I really like the shape and size, high quality and recommended.

I have an Oak Cups Flow and it plays very well and I love the sound it makes! I also have The Camper pioneer and I love the paint on it! You can never go wrong with a Sol Flow or a Standard size Sol dama

Really fantastic! I have the Strawberry Milk. Rubber/silk paint is great, and I think the shape is very good. The maple (I assume they are still maple) also feels really amazing in the hand. Go watch what @Chad Covington , DeSoto, and the other Sol players can do with them. Very good damas!

Fantastic damas! Gotta love beech and the Sol homies always come correct when it comes to design. I vote, worth it.

Super durable, silk paint is amazing (seems to play better than KUSA silk and holds up just as well), awesome variety of colorways to choose from and the maple always comes with amazing clack!

Thanks Ben! I've heard that the tama is much heavier that the ken. Is that correct? And what do you think about the paint?

I don't generally weigh my kendamas, but it didn't seem any heavier to me. I like the paint a lot! Some people compare it to kusa silk which I don't think is a bad comparison but it is slightly different. I think I might like the vibe paint a hair more (though I think kusa paint can vary.)

on every Kusa silk I've had i have experienced that after some time playing with it the rubber starts To come off, and then it's just Super glossy underneath the rubber. I hope it's not like that on the vibe. Anyone with a picture of a jammed sol vibe? Thanks Ben ! ;)

So far I like my flows...they are lighter than I thought they would be for an oversized kendama so there is that. I also think they are pretty slick right out of the box and take some breaking in to hit that sweet spot, a little more so than a normal natty. I am slightly skeptical of the wood transistion at the cups. If I were you I would get one with a single wood ken, the one I have feels a little more solid than the "cups" flow, but that is just my opinion. All in all a great oversized ken though, it really slays the handle stalls for a natty. I think they are still on sale too so you might want to cop now.

I have a walnut maple Flow and I really like the size. Like @lategreat808 I also thought it was a bit slick out of the box but that's probably just the finishing wax or super fine grain sandpaper they use in the final steps. I really like the way the ones with the different cup woods look and I haven't seen anyone post about a problem with them chipping or popping off so I'm thinking about getting one of those to play.

The Sol Flow Ash Cups that I have has no problems what soever with the cups, and the ash breaks in nicely do stall and balance tricks well. It feels quite solid, but yes, it is very light. The lunar balance isn't as amazing as new gen damas these days, but it is still definitely doable. My ash cups really stalls, and slings, for dayzzz. I highly recommend them.

Ok so I have a walnut stripe flow. I really like using it for new gen stuff like juggles, taps, slingers, fasthands, etc. For some reason the bigger size helps with that or something. the tracking is awesome and the bevel is actually huge. the clack is unreal when you land a clean whirlwind or something. I haven't really been able to break in the tama, but I used coconut oil and that helped add a little grip to the tama. Stalls are really great, especially handlestalls. I say cop.

The flow is probably the first kendama I have owned where it seems like the clack actually makes a huge difference in the overall experience. It sounds really nice.

What wood(s)? I've been partial to the sound of oak and bamboo lately.
