    Hey everyone!

I've seen tons of videos where people can lace a crazy lune line then finish it off with slinger whirlwinds. I'm curious as to how i can get this good at slings. i can occasionally get dub slings but thats only with a really well weighted setup.

I guess I'm just interested in how you slinger masters do it, and what tips you can offer a slinger amateur.

im no master.. and its hard to explain with text, but essentially, use your finger to wrap the ken around it, dont try to flip the ken around your finger. Practice by holding your ken in ken grip(with thumb on big cup) and using a circular motion of your hand to make the ken wrap around.

Ive seen some friends trying to like flip it around their finger but its hard to do that in a line or get multiple. let me know if this helps, makes sense, or not.

    PEACE

yea @Michael Joseph Reeves, if im reading that right youre on the right track. just practice doing slingers, dont try to land. hold the tama in one hand and spin the ken like youre doing slingers in the other. just get the motion down then slowly put it into practice.

^ yup, that's exactly what i did to get dubs down and currently working on trips :3

also to get those whirlslingers down, practicing and getting consistent with really lofty earth turns helped me in addition to practicing just the sling motion. :D

Get the motion of the slinger down while holding the tama with the other hand. Try to get it locked in tight, go for doubles, triples, and beyond.

Then, same deal as whirlwinds, just toss a lofty earth-turn, and go for the slinger!

When you start to learn them, do the earth and the sling as two separate motions. Eventually you can get them smooth to the point where they almost become one motion.

Sidenote: I think whirlslinger is a weird name. Its just gunslinger... yea that can apply to slings between cups too, but in context it makes sense to just say gunsling or slinger... whirlslinger is unnecessary.

first make sure you have a good slinger dama. then once you have one practice slingers with just the ken and get the motion down. If you hands are moist or sweaty go watch them so you can do slingers better. hope this helps.
