As a Minnesota Wild fan, Jake Allen is literally playing the best hockey of his life. The Wild shouldn't be one game away from being out of the playoffs. But we are because Jake Allen for the blues is the hottest goaltender in the league right now. The plays he's made the past few games are insane. Fortunately we came up with a win yesterday, but now we have to win the next 3 in a row.
Hawks only played one period. And that not how you win games in the playoffs. Anyone else think that the playoffs are disappointing this year? With teams getting swept in the first round- not a great display of "wide range of talent across multiple teams". Seems to show how, at the top, there are only a few really good teams.
I see where you're coming from but I disagree. I mean, Calgary was overmatched and the Hawks just didn't show up but I've really enjoyed all the other matchups.
