I'm hoping to get a local group together, if there isn't one already. About me: I've lived in Austin 10 years, been in the corporate game for 7 years, been playing with my new cheap kendama for 4 days. I'm hooked and I can't put it down! I'd love to hang at one of our many parks or pools (natural or concrete) and try to master the basics during the weekends or after business hours!

Hey Nikki! Welcome to Austin! It's a great place to live! Same. I literally just started playing with a cheap kendama I bought in Japantown in San Francisco this weekend. I'm hoping we can get a group going. Maybe hit up the greenbelt or barton springs pool. It's HOT these days so we need a body of water nearby!
