Okay everybody, I think it's time that we get this Community Edit #2 out. I know a lot of you have been waiting/have been stacking clips since the last one came out. I will be taking the helm on editing this one. With that being said, everyone can submit their clips to me using https://wetransfer.com/ to [email protected]. INCLUDE YOUR DS USERNAME, FULL NAME, CITY, AND COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE IN THE COMMENT AREA FOR WETRANSFER. This will make it easier for me to know who is who and organize everything. REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSIONS: - No vertical vids allowed. Period. This isn't Instagram or Snapchat. This is the Downspike Community Edit baby! - 720p or higher. Please don't film it with a potato. I understand that not everyone has the best camera, but even smartphones these days can film in some pretty high quality. - Videos must be properly framed, and so should the tricks. - Submit your clip with your full name/DS username, city, and country of residence. - Keep your clips UNEDITED (no music, color grading, slo-mo etc.) If your clip does not meet these requirements, there is a high chance that we will not use it. SUGGESTIONS: - Higher frames per second = better slo-mo! (It really does make a difference, so if you can do 60fps or more, please film with it!) - B-roll! The edit will flow much better if you include some shots of the dama you used or a view of the scenery that you're lacing in. Basic B-roll things. - Film outside! Let us know where you are in the world! I understand that some of us lace the hardest in our rooms or inside the house, wherever that may be, but we wanna see some cool views! (me especially) - Film with a friend! Doubles clips are always cool and I don't think there were any in the last community edit. - Lastly, rep Downspike! Sticker slap a sign, show off the DS sticker on your dama/phone/whatever your sticker is on, and be sure to include it in your footy! DEADLINE TO SUBMIT CLIPS: AUGUST 13TH, 11:59 PST I'm looking forward to seeing what tricks you guys came up with! EDIT: Anyone who submits a clip will be eligible to win a special prize from Downspike! So submit those clips if you want a special prize from us! Going to look through the entries today, but if you haven't submitted a clip yet, please try and submit original clips only. Nothing that was already used for another edit or posted to IG. The cool part about this edit is that Downspike users from all over the globe collectively go out to film a trick for the edit. Looking forward to more entries!

Yo can I request, even if it may be too late, to try and avoid music that has swear words in it for the edit?
I'm not a huge country fan, but really I am just burnt out with rap/hip hop being the track for 90% of edits. Unless they go for Tyler. Flower Boy is rad.
