So are there any drawbacks of kendama sweets prime?? It's cheap, it has very tacky paint but not to much, it is great for stalls, big cups help with lunars and instas. What about pint durability, kendama durability?

I've been a fan of Sweets aTack paint for a few years. It seems to really shine in humid climates. In Tokyo it's not bad but in Manila it's dynamite. The other thing I like about it is that the tackiness is in the paint rather than being a coating. I've seen them worn to the wood and they're still tacky.

If cushion clear didn't peel as much it would be the best. However, DWI sticky AF paint takes the cake for me.

I like Behr paint a lot, especially with a paint roller. Their exterior paint is incredibly durable, its stayed on my house for like 10 years.

The slaydawgs are amazing. They are not really so much bigger, just a little beefier, and that makes it catch so nicely in your hands. Big cups and LOL clear too? Slays like your in a dream.

Wonder what you'd use as a thinner for that. It's got to be kind of heavy straight out of the can.

Does anyone know the type of paint used in all these paints? Like the type of paint used that dries tacky?

That's been a common question but though there have been some interesting suggestions the kendama makers keep their "secret sauce" secret. Here's a thread where you can see more on this. Paint questions for custom tamas

Su Lab’s friction clear is pretty dope. Feels grippier than cushion clear, havent seshed it long enough to get a good idea on how it breaks in yet though
