Anyone here jam BLK before? I just picked up three of them off of kendama syndicate from there $10 dama deals and I think they are way too good to be selling for that price. They are the OG hardwood ones but they are all jamming so hard right now. Anyone else have an opinion on BLK...anyone have one of their new tuned models? If so do you think they are worth it?

I was planning on posting this same thing. I was considering picking up the Zebrano half split from the $10 sale but I've never played that wood or that brand before.

My partner "surprised" me with one as an early Christmas gift. LOVE it. The balance is fantastic and it's just *fun*. Definitely amazing for the $

The half split is really great. The zabrano ken is one of my favorites thus far. It's on the slimmer side, kinda like a roots but with smoother cups.

That's pretty much the reason I posted this...was trying to see if anyone had jammed them yet. They look like they would kill

Haven't jammed a V2, but I tested out the lunars and slings on one. Lunars sat well and slingers were fine. Seemed like a good mix for both. The paint seemed like it was somewhat tacky as well

If I were to get one I'd probably pull a natty. For some reason I gravitate towards natty kendamas. Pretty much my whole collection is natty

The OG blk series comes in a smal drawstring bag with stickers and a string. The new tuned v2 series comes in a wood box with the string and stickers

Seriously one of my favorite kendamas. I have numerous OG's and they are awesome. Good for slings and juggles and they hold up nicely. Kendamasyndicate.com has them for $10 too, that half split is the way to go, only $15 after shipping.

The Tamas are however very slick so they will take some serious jamming to break in and I haven't even landed a single lunar on mine yet, mainly because I'm still a novice with the lunars, I can only stick lunars on rubberized paints or my red oak krom.

The OG's come with a drawstring muslin bag, an extra string and some stickers.
