I think it could be cool if you gave long time members certain perks. I was thinking it would be cool to put like a symbol (star, etc) by people for every year, ex. If you have been on ds for 2 years, you get a star by your username, etc.
Just thinking out loud here but just being a member isn't the same as being an "active" member so there would probably be a lot of people with stars who seldom or never post. Active members on the other hand are recognized through the Trophy system and is perhaps a better way to show a member's commitment/contribution to the boards.
Is it just me or are pages with Facebook links embedded really slow to load? (Half a dozen computers in various locations using Chrome, Firefox and Sea Monkey.) For example If you happen to be in the Philippines.
BBCode to insert photos from Flickr isn't working. Just tried it here, JKA World Festa, using the same format as always and it won't display.
Hey Downspike. I’m sometimes logging into the iPhone app writing a post then when I go to post, it says I need to log in. I then have to close the app, start it back up, log in and usually re write the post before it actually posts.
@Stuart Barron super weird . Try going into your app settings on your phone and trashing your cache and stored data. Let me know if it does it after you do that
On polls it seems that even if you don't select "multiple votes allowed" as an option it still makes your poll with "multiple votes allowed."
@goenKendama still having trouble when I choose a photo from my phone. It used to just upload. Now it just leaves a broken link. Any way around this?
Posted to our staff chat but I think @Cheech_Sander is headed out of town soon, if not already, so it may be a bit before it's remedied. It should get squared away eventually just give us a bit. Looks like it also effects the previous posts particularly from share sites like Flickr. Anyone out there able to post photos what are you using?

I hardly see pictures from before the server migration (https://www.downspike.com/threads/new-sweets-x-kusa-collab.3674/ noticed it in this thread last) Also I know it might be a lot to ask from you but personally the app needs to have the option of which page to show first when opening the app - like RN it shows me the edits but I'd rather see The Sesh (I might have missed the option in settings - I'll check again lol)

Last I saw @Cheech_Sander was still tinkering. Old pix seem to be back and I'm once again able to post my "infamous" Moderator Hat pix as needed but those are stored off the DS site. Maybe the site-hosted pix are still the hangup.
I am able to upload photos but they still show as a link, it's not seamless. Try going to your app and clearing your data / cache. Or rebooting your phone. Upload below.
When creating a poll it always activates "multiple votes allowed" even when that box isn't checked in the poll's creation.
