    Who's your favorite painter and why? One of my favorites is Mash, his designs are super cool and I love the tackiness.

    @Kayadama and Cooks from KUSA.
    Jamie from Kayadama has superb skills and you can really see and feel all the effort he puts into each of his work.
    Cook was the first custom kendama I bought (Gold Rush) and fell in love with it. He has a great variety to choose from still on KUSA and they're all 10/10

    I have 2 of his custom Pokeball kendamas, one with his original alpha clear coat and the other with his omega clear coat.
    Alpha is super tacky, if you've played a broken in Roots custom tama (i have a roots jade keyaki ozora tama) it's just as tacky out of the box and super durable.
    Omega is slightly tacky and gets tackier with play, giving it a better slick to tack ratio. The coat isn't as durable as the Alpha though, mine has started peeling a bit around the bevel but it hasnt hampered play at all so far. Loving both of them!

    Breaks in really well, but still has a good slick/tack ratio. Not as tacky as roots

    Low key, the Sweets painters are really dope! People tend to forget each dama is painted in house!
