    Perhaps I just haven't spent enough time with Splice, but it seems harder to use for me. With iMovie I can do exactly what I want, quite easily. Splice has all these extra presets that get in my way and then I can't figure out how to do certain simple edits as easily. What can it do better/differently than iMovie that will motivate me to try harder to learn it? haha

    Can you get cutecut in the US? It's easily the best I've ever used. It's a timeline based editor on the iPhone

    @htimSxelA I am in the same boat as @Ben Lowe. I am fairly quick with iMovie and felt like the simple edits that @Ben Lowe mentioned became more difficult with Splice. Oh well! lol

    @Ben Lowe @Chad Covington

    Hmm, to be fair my experience with iMovie ended at the 'add clips' phase. I couldn't find a way to add multiple at once, so I just ditched out and went back to splice (which I had first) because I had to add a lot of clips and it seemed like it was going to take a loong time with iMovie.

    So I don't really know how they currently compare, maybe I'll try downloading iMovie and seeing how it works these days. @maxdesu ill have to check cutecut too

    @htimSxelA Haha it sounds like we actually have had the same experience but from different sides. You started with Splice and like it more, and I started with iMovie and like it more. It may be as simple as that, I dunno.

    From the short time I looked at Cute Cut tonight it seemed really promising! Some stuff you can do there that can't be done (as far as I'm aware) with iMovie or Splice. Gonna dig in a bit more.

    cute cut is awesome. I ended up paying for the full version. you can drop transparent gifs, which really helps with editing in logos!
