I just got mine it’s a bit small but fits my iPad mini perfect so I’m happy. The quality is pretty good it feels really nice.
I just opened mine Saturday.. was going to bust out my Cush Clear Decade but boxed it back up and unboxed the Boo.. restrung it with a maroon-ish Sweets satin string(the one that came on my mod was only like 2.5fingers when it was advertised as a 6finger string..) it looks like it’ll be a good combo

Ever notice the differences between almost all KUSA silks? Love the silk on my slim! Hate it on my Mateo mod. I Pray the Bray mod has tack.
I agree though, not a high fan of the Silk on my Mateo mod.. it chipped easily and was a little slick for my liking/skill sets
I’ve had some mixed experiences with silk paints, my kaizen slim held up pretty ok but my Krom Pop has some pretty bad slip, and another silk kaizen i had was a disaster. I’ve wanted the Dwesty and i really want the Nobu but i’ve been so hesitant on buying silk tamas! i hope they have some tack to em
Same here! I owned an OG Kaizen Alex Smith Mod, and a Kaizen 2.0 beech. The tack on the beech tama was way better for me, but I attribute it to the wood the kens were made of; I find that Silk doesn't cooperate with Maple, but it plays better with softer wood like beech.
i played their sweets collab and man... one of the best damas i ever played. too bad the base cup was a little small for me like a prime. but it was cush and everything was perfect weight matched even down to sarado/sword. i’d imagine that this new shape slays plus the pro mods have base cup holes! for my next pickup i’m in between active pro mod, pineapple new mod, KD mod, or analog singularity ): so hard to choose
@Dre_11 I’d get the Lyndon mod over the KD mod if you haven’t played either yet.. the tracking on lyndon’s Mod is a little better in my opinion.. but I’m pretty trash and need all the tracking help I can get. kD’s mod is great and beautiful and I will prob get another at some point.. especially with the new allstar bevel.
Extremely good for lunars, huge base cup, really nice paint. Feels very smooth when playing. I recommend it.
