Loving axes rn! I learned them yesterday and I'm hooked! why does everyone hate them so much? I think they look cool, especially axe flips.
Maybe because they are nearly impossible on OG damas like ozora and even old kaizens. Even if they are possible, they are way harder than on prime, pop, next gen etc.
Very true. I was barely able to underbird and couldn't do axe on my old damas but now they are really easy on the sweets prime because the bigger cups allow slip stop to lock tricks at that stall point.
Probably. It may be similar to beeswax. I use KENditioner, which has both beeswax and coconut oil in it, and it definitely helps make it grippier.

I got a dama stuck in a tree today. had to climb the tree and get it out, ended up snapping the string and losing the dama mod bearing. fun

It’s def not a problem haha we’ll just hit quad lunar before we hit quad lh. Lunars are more flicking forward while lh are more popping upwards.
It's quite normal guys. Lunar is a more static, I mean when it lands, it locks in when you have grippy dama, and LH is higher, and it's harder to land it because it leans back.
