Signing up for the full KWC package I see the option of an Onsen type lodging also a Forrest option. The site doesn't state exactly where these are, just in a "cooler" area. Anyone booked any of these packages yet? Or know whereabouts they are? I really liked staying at the hostel in Hatsukaichi, but these lodgings sounded kinda tempting.
Forreals, get the Onsen package. We stayed there in 2015, and the place is called Arcadia Village. It's up on a mountain, cool fresh air, warm buffet meals and hands down the best few nights you'd ever get during KWC. Did i also mention onsen? Yeah. ONSEN. That shit's magic. Word of advice - when you're at the venue, stock up on supplies (snacks, drinks, food, cigs, etc) because it takes nearly 20 mins to drive downhill to the nearest kombini.
