Got a solid craigslist deal on some Omnium cranks for my gf's bike! So thats rad

Also picked up a new AroundSquare stainless steel knucklebone. Super fun to fidget with. Highly recommend on of them!

Hell yeah! What's the bike? Mine's related but nowhere near as fun. My front hub broke on my ride home from work last week so I had to pick up a new one. This is exciting/daunting cause it also means I'm also about to learn how to build a wheel. Anyone have tips on that?

Its an alu track bike, the brand is Prime. All black like this one:
I rebuilt the rear wheel on her bike once (swapped out the hub), and I also built myself a double fixed rear recently. Its not too tough you just need to read this Sheldon Brown page and be methodical as you do it. Get someone who knows what they're doing to give it a look once you're done, and you should be good to go!

Oh wow that page is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thanks!! Also that’s a rad looking bike. What do you ride?

I feel like a lot of kendama players ride fixed. Is that a thing?

This is my bike now. I’ve had it forever but I’ve been really thinking about building up a BB17 Transfer.

Mine just arrived yesterday and I totally agree! They're really nice to fidget with! Compared to my set of short stringed begleri, there are many more ways to fidget with the knucklebone.

You think so? I would say I know of more begleri tricks, but I guess with a very short string the options are more limited!

For sure! It's a paracord w/ monkey fists begleri, and it's so short I'm pretty limited to rebounds and a few simple transitions. Slingers are out of the question (except maybe around my pinky) hahaha
