Yep, little late this year. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Give me a list of a max of 10 tricks to put into a poll here and we'll pick a Trick of the Year like we did for 2017. Here's that thread. Here's the current list: Spike taps Lyndy hops Gooncircle Claps Hand stalls Taps Finger lighthouses Penguin grip swaps Drone Taps We had a tie so go here for the runoff.
The clapping thing started in 2019 right? Otherwise, I there was a lot of hype gooncircle stuff going on in the summer that was super cool to see.
First post updated with the current suggested tricks. We hit 10 I'll post the poll and open voting. Keep the ideas coming.
tRicK'(n.) A broad term for describing women who are either teases, hoes, or one of the above pretending to be the other. Calling a woman a trick shows you are not impressed/convinced by their shit If we go by this urban dictionary definition of a trick then my vote goes to Your Mom.
Sol shared a few of Miguel De La Torre's clapping tricks a bit ago and I feel like it took off for a minute there. Here's an examples: Looking back, this was all in January and I think 28 tricks kind of fueled it since this is a maybe less-explored area for a lot of players.
Jeez, taps are still a thing? That's so old school. j/k Also are you suggesting that taps and spike taps should be listed differently?
yeah I am. They are pretty separate, I mean spike taps are a lot more technical and harder to do multiple of. And yeah, taps are old, but the record was beat again, so I thought I might include it.
Drone Taps? Saw Claire from Analog do them first then have seen multiple people on them since. Dave Mateo did a line of drone taps in his new ProMod Edit.. Where you spin the Ken and pull it up while it spins horizontally and give it taps underneath it o keep raising it
String tricks/tie-ups like @shonuff_chris style, example- Eiffel Tower. I don’t know the best way to categorize that technical string style, but it’s popping up all over IG.
Yea your boy Chris is CRAZY with tension and string tricks and coming up with new fresh ideas!! Also @goenKendama i have seen people going opposite/switch hand and or being ambidextrous and using both hands back and forth with trick variation
