The DWI V3 is my pic for this year. The shape is fantastic. Great lunar balance and dialed cup size. Plus the Zawa and Rumina mods turned out amazing. Love the paint on those ones.
My favorite kendama is my krom strogo. It's my first kendama with a base cup hole. Which I really like, and I like the way the lol paint feels. I have a krom slaydog but the lol paint feels way different
I got a krom pop naked this year and contrary to public opinion, it was weighted super well and now it’s a lacing machine
Lotus came out of no where but it has become one of my favorite shapes. Stoked to try out the 2.0 when my buddy get back from BATB with the haul.
I got a CF Decade mod in cushion clear that is really high performance - so far out of my 10 kendamas it plays the best. It stalls great with the beech parts, slaps lunars and the cushion clear just GRABS one-turn lighthouses and makes them stand automagically erect. If it was just a bit bigger... like Terra Prefect or Legaxis Zoom sized... it would be the ultimate.
For me it’s the Da/O stone pine, it’s just a completely different feeling playing it super light yet perfect balance and the wood is just so grippy, honorable mention for quill kendama, new company great shapes and they play great, and the jake weins executive mod, GT keeps making absolute bangers this updated shape is fire
