I know this is lame to have to post these here, but I just got a major hookup from a coworker who started playing long before me and is thinning out his collection. Can anyone give or point me to somewhere I can find some background on these kenco damas? Kenco was already rip by the time I started playing

The red and blue ones are the KenCo Shenzhus, the blue I believe is a glow in the dark one.
The other one is a KenCo Zen raw stripe

Yep! I think KenCo, alongside Yumu, was one of the first companies which pioneered the idea of tacky cups. :)

I had a Jumbo KenCo with painted cups that glowed in the dark and was rough finished but not sticky.

Don't know it if was a production tama but the paint looks like a version of Sweets' old Prism paint from a few years back.

I would put my money on Otaken Custom (recently did a colab with Quill(?) Kendamas.
This colouring is his speciality and the clean lines seem to match his quality aswell
Edit: Found the tama (or a similar one):

Kinda made a thread all about ID’ing tamas way back, but yea like Goen said it kinda looks like a Sweets Prism-esque dama. I think they do one-offs as tests and end up sending them to some of their players. I don’t really know if that’s true or not, but yea seems like they had some fun w/ the Prism paint/sparkles.

Any idea where that thread is? I was looking for one I thought had been posted but Search thwarted me. Kept getting the ol' "The search could not be completed because the search keywords were too short, too long, or too common." error.

@dustin With some help from @James Hoang I've merged the related thread. Now we can keep all the mystery searches together. :D
