Hi guys! COVID-19's ravaging society as we know it right now. How are all of you guys holding up?

In the Philippines, we've been in lockdown for the last 2 weeks and 5 days. Fortunately, I'm ok; I've been staying home and my place is well-provisioned. Hopefully, this virus disappears sooner than later.

We here in the states Colorado to be exact just went on strict lockdown today. But I have been staying at home more often than not. So I'm holding up okay. Thanks for asking!

We've been on home lockdown for about 3 weeks now. Still safe but cabin fever's setting in. Stay safe, man.

As a first responder here in Florida, staying home is not an option. All is well though. We just went on a statewide Stay At Home Order, but nobody is following it. Its a loose order though. You are allowed to leave to do essential things like grocery shopping, banking, laundromats, take out food, get gas, go to the pharmacy etc. You can even go outside for exercise such as walks, runs etc. Am I going to pull anybody over?? I really can't. Unless they are doing something stupid....all they have to say is that they are going to get food or something else. So basically its not being enforced. Besides this may sound bad but I have bigger things to worry about like actual crime happening. Not the person who rolls up to 7-11 to get some beer and ice cream at 11:00 at nite.

@Taskmaster99 thank you for being out on the front lines. Hope you don't cross paths with too many goofballs. Stay safe.

Thanks for your Service, man. Frontliners are the most vulnerable sector of society right now. I hope people in Florida realize the danger of the virus and stay the hell inside.

    Hows it been out there?

Vancouver is still in lockdown mode, but it isn't extremely strict, thankfully. We can still go out for for exercise and such, would be going crazy otherwise. Its getting lonely though, haven't really hung out with friends in person in a couple months. Online chats are great (and have let me reconnect with some friends I hadn't seen in some time!), but they still lack the in-person interaction that I think people around the world are increasingly realizing is important.

    Stay healthy all

Glad to hear that you're safe, Alex!

I'm alright here in Manila. Cabin fever's a bit severe but I'm more fortunate than most because I have a roof over my head and easy access to food and water. Lockdown especially sucks because of a stupid liquor ban that my city imposed; I can't even enjoy a drink to take the load off of a stressful situation.

I encourage everyone to share their situation here. We all need to stick together and encourage social interaction open so as to keep our morale high. :)

I'm here in Hampi in South India we've been locked down for close to 2 months now. We are a rural village though so nobody is really following the lockdown orders except that businesses can't open. People still have to cut and bag the rice, feed the cows, graze goats etc.
Emil totally understand what you're saying about the liquor ban that is the most crazy thing which the India government has done as well. Makes people even more sad if they can't have their tipples sometimes!! Stress and poverty levels getting really high in India.

I'm not from here but stuck now so I try to help the locals how I can. If I manage to get fruits (3 times the normal price) I share them with my neighbors especially kids who need vitamins for healthy immune system.

    Stay good everyone!

Interesting to hear about the liquor bans, have they given any sort of justification?
I tried to go to a liquor store here a week or two ago... had a line up halfway down the block though, so I didn't bother. I have a stock of homebrew'd beer to keep me happy in the meantime :p

In Vancouver (BC) the only businesses that had to close were those that couldn't function without direct social interaction (ie barber shops, nail salons, physiotherapy). A LOT of restaurants and retail shops have closed though, many full on boarded up their windows and doors. Feels spooky.

@Pil Lockey what an experience to be in India for this! I spent about a month in India, many years ago. Mostly up north and west though.
Are you there for work? Whats your homebase otherwise?

Justification in my city is to prevent quarantine violations. Our quarantine lockdown is really strict so our City Government can't afford to have random drunk people go out and cause a ruckus.

Of course, I'm relatively alright since I maintain a good collection of hard liquor, but I do miss having an ice cold beer when the temperature in the Philippines can reach up to 45°C.

I come for the bouldering and just love the place generally but originally from the Uk. I'm glad that I'm 'stuck' here now as what's going on in England now is not that great.
So I'm new to this forum and have been playing kendama for 6 months only. Juggling and climbing rocks are my main interests but I have to say Kendama has been slowly getting more and more time. I love it.

Check out the place where I'm 'stuck' at it's in this vid I just put together...my first edit,
