Does anyone know a sticky paint formula they would be willing to share? I have been looking into putting a good clear coat on some damas. Feb 28, 2019

So I've been researching adding like a silicone base into the paint and then adding some form of catalyst for cure but still haven't figured out the formula but if your looking for a quick cheaper fix they sell a clear chalkboard paint and I've found it to be fairly useful

Are birch tamas good? Are they more like ash or maple?

Yeah I like em, second favorite after raw ash. It's probably in between the two, I've had ones that are similar to ash but some that are more similar to maple. Not a bad tama choice though

My new hg has a really low cups to the point where I can see the string hole, is there a way(maybe beeswax?) to get the cups back to normal?

Try cutting out the sticky end of a post-it note, take off the sarado, put the sticky paper around the string hole, and put the sarado back on. It should raise the sarado height and keep them there. :)
