How long is each participant given for freestyle prelims? Is the freestyle any different from last year?

Freestyle will remain pretty much the same as last year. We will announce the length of prelim when we open registration.

Will there be a Halloween party? Are costumes mandatory?

Totally wish I could go to this or any kendama event. I always work...I would have been given a free ticket to Camp Kendama too if it hadnt been for work.

I can't get a vacay in unless we finish this job, which will not be until sometime next year. And then my vacation consists of just going home for a week or two to get shit done. No rest for the best.

These tricks are ridiculous I feel. Really upping the skill level to even have a chance to win.

Some of those tricks are wicked. They made them look easy and steezy tho.

for the gunslinger tricks can we do swing, or do they have to be pull up?

Asking a similar question. Does the kenflip, bird, in have to be a swing up or can it be a pull up?

This is just my guess, but if the trick doesn't say "pull up" or "swing to" in the description, you should be allowed to do it whichever way.

The video is just for reference. Just like how the 1-turn swap gunslinger doesn't say "and yank!"
