What are your favorite film scores?

Right now, I'm really digging the Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 scores. They're super unique, and build such a grand atmosphere when listened to.

    - Most of Hans Zimmer’s work, notably OSTs from Inception, Nolan’s Batman series, and Interstellar.

    - Howard Shore’s work on LOTR. Those are my favorites to listen to.

    - John Williams for, well, Star Wars!

    - John Powell for the Bourne series

Other mentions go to Ramin Djawadi (TV - Person of Interest), Klaus Badelt (Pirates series), David Arnold (James Bond series, TV - Sherlock, Stargate).

howard leslie shore, Lord of the rings.
Obviously John williams for star wars
and the music for stranger things fit the show so well and made it that much creepier.

Bernard Herrmann is probably best known for his hair raising score on Psycho, but two of my favorite scores by him are from On Dangerous Ground by Nicolas Ray (early 1950s) and The Trouble with Harry by Alfred Hitchcock (mid 1950s).
Henry Mancini is famous for his iconic score on The Pink Panther. Two of my favorite scores by him are from the Stanley Donen films Charade and Two for the Road.

I really liked the music in the original Blade Runner but the first CDs of the music weren't Vangelis but The New American Orchestra. His version didn't come out until later. I think I ended up with 3 versions of the soundtrack.

This is from the movie Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour.

Also partial to this one from Risky Business.

TV themes I liked Jan Hammer's Miami Vice tracks.

Spaghetti western scores are awesome! Especially Ennio Morricone's work on For a Few Dollars More, A Fistful of Dollars, and The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.
