    No, I think I yanked it once and a bit of the tama hole fell of. So i tried to fix it with sandpaper or something haha

    Now that I think about it, pretty sure we got it in '05 which would make it 12 years old. One of the guys at Willi's ski shop got ahold of it from Japan.

    Fresh & Jammed!

    Stripes were put on using a sharpie (on a lathe) then I beeswaxed the tama.

    so far the birch ken is holding up ok! chipped that maple ken though. and yes, raw ash tamas can be played until they are dust. so much fun.

    With the natty keyaki the main difference is seeing the grain darken and pop out.
