Not a holster but a pretty cool hard case. Preformed and while you can put a JKA or similar kendama in it larger kendama seem to be a bit better fit. Also tried it with a Prefect which worked pretty well.

Is it just a lighting/shadow illusion, or does that case have a nicely dama-shaped recess in it?

Yep it's kendama form-fit but I'm still trying to figure out exactly which kendama was used as a template. Sol Flow fits pretty well, Prefect is snug but can be closed. A 17cm "standard" fits poorly around the slip grip/ring stall but I'm currently using the case for a standard size aluminum just because it's great for transportation and it's a lot smaller than the custom case I made seen in video below. It comes in 4 colors grey, black, blue, & red.

This is the only video I referenced for a double loop. After tightening, the burn piece is never moving in my opinion.

Yes supporting is great when someone showed me the link to the side kick that’s the same idea about a spike and only loop no carabiner I bought the tie die themed one immediately. But if you’re like me and want to maybe have like... a lot, then this is good to sub in the others without breaking the bank. 69¢ for this cord and I’ve made about 6 so far for my damas.

You’re welcome! And I would say for dimensions 12-16 inches for the inside loop. Anything below 12 will be hard to use and I would aim for 12 or 14 roughly.

the outside string that you don’t loop together I found just doubling the length was enough if not too much lol.

as far as engineering goes I would advise to do a larger loop than I did and leave a solid loop that will fit the whole body to tie it into your pants with ease.

The inside loop you burn and connect is both the loop for the spike and your pants.

the outside string you braid around it it just purley to look cool and hold it together tight as heck! hope that helps.

I've been using rock climbing chalk bags as my preferred carry for a while and ran across one that appeals to my Texan roots.

I'm using one from the same company but different design here. The stiff opening makes it perfect for my intended use as an actual "holster." :D
