This thing is practically new. I paired the tama with a separate ken for a few days so it has a few dents in it. Never played the Slate Ken. It's $20 with shipping anywhere in the continental USA. If you are outside those lines but still want it, I can put in extra work to get it out to you for the extra money for shipping. The tama has some natty grip to it. I was catching lunars and Lighthouses fairly easily for a natty tama (as expected from beechwood). I always ship quick and with extra goodies. Tama: 67.25g Ken: 72.9g Sarado: 35.5g Spike: 37.4g
Save up some cash... not sure when this will sell. I'm sure I'll have something for when you have some money.
this was the first natty that i jammed until it dropped. the ken was legit perfect for lunars and slings. basically got me into slings. i just didn't glue it, and it does need to be glued, as the beech on beech just destroyed the spike.
I've been waiting forever for more slates and this is a banger deal. It's $20 total including shipping correct? And how is it for lunars? I noticed the ken is heavier than the sarado so I'm a little iffy on that.
2-3g heavier spike is perfect for an all around ken, from my bit of experience. It's a nice balance for lighthouses and lunars. You catch lunars at a stylish angle rather than an easy and flat angle when the sarado is heavy. I have a sarado that's 4-5g heavier and it feels flat. Personally, a heavy sarado also makes lighthouse & LH flips unforgiving, you almost always have to be perfect or have some super sticky icky paint to help it from tipping over and sliding right off.
