If you can afford TJ kolesnik pro mod, you should definitely buy it!

Sol Pioneer series might be a good choice. They are a "premium" kendama for a cheaper price and that paint break in nicely I hear.

Get a Fujin! Their paint is really great slip/stick ratio, and they're pretty darn cheap for how well they play($25 or so). Plus they have some dope customs that are grippy as well. www.fujinkendamas.com

If you have at least $35, then cop a solid color premium ozora. The paint is pretty tacky, but there's enough slip to allow you to adjust the ken.

You should hit up a DWI Sticky AF. Those damas slay and are relatively cheap.

Depends on the paint style you want. If you want a sticky/ hard coat paint I would suggest a Sol pioneer, DWI Sticky AF, or a TJ Kolesnik pro model if you want a new wood like ash. In terms of a matte paint, I would fully suggest a Kaizen 2.0. The shape looks incredible for its price and you can never go wrong with some good old KUSA Silk!

Hey! Thanks for the forum! We should all know by now that the most affordable kendama with ultra stick/tack is the Deal With It Sticky AF. Now those are the best kendamas I have ever played and are super cheap. 35 bucks for a long lasting maple ken with a tama that will still be sticky once its broken in. Nothing beats that on a budget. Dont forget that it comes with a drawstring bag stickers and string!

    Thanks!

Yes definitely get a Fujin they have nice customs that are all tacky and get tackier when you break it in. They also have some new new coming soon they will be having 4 new rubber paints I gave them the color ways of two of them, the "Blue Fin" and the "Chicago." Those color ways were on my mind for a long time now and when he said he is taking requests I threw him those ideas not knowing he was going to consider and the next thing I knew he made them so tell me what you think of them when and if you cop one. :)

Sol Vibes and Pioneers are great choices, KUSA Kaizen Cooks Customs, Kaizen 2.0 series, and any Ozora would make good choices. The Vibes and Pioneers are really durable, so are the Kaizen Cooks Customs. And you really can never go wrong with an Ozora.

Slaydawg for sure if you want tacky and sticky. Can't go wrong with any model, especially the pro models.

Kaizen 2.0's from KUSA. Just the 2.0 shape w/silk tamas(the bamboo is a natty and the trip stripe has gloss), 4 different woods to choose from, and 4 paint styles to choose from. All for just $30.
