Takahiro Maeda was Japanese Kendama Champion (I believe) three times in the 90s. One of the first Kendama clips I ever saw - and helped hook me on this game - was of him in a parking lot. This is a performance of unknown date. I'd guess that this performance is about 20 years old (1997) or older. I hope everyone enjoys. Maeda is a fantastic performer and he presents Kendama in a fun way to audiences. I'd love to see and read opinions and comments about this clip and Maeda in general.

Yo, just saw these dudes posted this today. It has me smiling so hard. Some of the tricks they hit were crazy too. You know what I mean if you've played one of these things. They put out a challenge at the end that I second. If anyone can bird the Pendama you're a beast, tag them and us and we'll hook you up with a prize well worth your efforts!

Check out this JKA player explaining Kendama and the JKA testing... In the whole clip he has one single miss (just one!)... and pay close attention to his moshi kame where he continually takes his eyes off the Ken and Tama to make eye contact with his audience. TOTALLY AMAZING!!!
