My friend wanted to buy a sumo they are 45$ and are they worth? I know they are pretty big, but are they tacky/good for balancing tricks
They are basically oversized kendamas with a reduced ken profile that makes balance tricks like lunar optimal. They are a little unconventional and not allowed for competitive use but a fun kendama to mess around with. As far as paint goes I believe they are all factory painted and quite tacky like primes.
I have played the spiderman color way sumo! it is so honed for lunars! i first picked it up and laced a lunar flip FT. i plan on purchasing one for my bday next month, but there an awesome kendama to play around on. I prefer them over Jumbos
The Sumo is dank to learn new tricks on! It is a lot of fun overall, but def not a daily jammer. Great for teaching people cups or landing wild lunar tricks
What’s up griz!!!! And yea it’s kinda addicting to use because of the lunars and wild stuff but once you put it down and switch to the regular kendama it throws off the wieght and level of play.
