I want to know what you guys think was the biggest thing that happened in kendama this year? Maby it was the creation of the spinner, or Krom Slaydwag, or maby something different. I want to know what you guys think.
A lot happened this year. So many companies putting out fire product I don't think there is just one answer.
Dama mods, cush clear, and Stodd Mods. Fasthands, cushions, reverse lunar catches. Open division difficulty
Biggest thing that happened in kendama this year was definitely Kendama Co shutting down. People may have predicted it with the amount of sales they had going on or whatever, but I don't think anybody thought that the Co would actually shut down.
Bearing beads were the one legit 'advancement' imo. New paints came out, but they weren't too different from other products already out there. Did stodd mods actually drop in 2016? Seems longer ago than that. Having multiple shapes available from one company (at the same quality level of product) could also be an advancement. Stodd mod/GT 1, or kaizen 2.0 / slim.
@Nick Lectura makes sense. Same goes for the grip ny entries... no one mentioned those in the 'best edits' thread, but there are some insane ones! Caleb and Rodney both had some insane tricks going! Keep an eye on GT in the new year... something new is coming, and it's going to be epic af
Caleb's and Rodney's entries were both super dope. Bonz's and Ben H's were super sick as well. There were just a lot of high quality entries this year, makes you wonder if a winner will ever be announced I feel like I might know what you're hinting at, but then again I never truly know haha
