Actually, the yellow ozoras were from the generation after the 'OG' generation. When they released the yellow is when they switched their paint formula. The old formula was king!
Hmm, Krom's ozora page confused me. So, that means yellow never came in lead base paint? Interesting, thanks for pointing that out. I'm editing my post to leaf green then!

Nope, the 'OG' lineup was leaf green / sky blue / marine blue / red / pink / natural, Which Krom page were you looking at? Here's a page with info on the recall that I think lead to Ozora switching up their paint formula (maybe there was another factor? I'm not sure. By that point, kendama wasn't huge, but it was starting to get bigger in the US, so maybe the switched up cause they saw potential in the new international market?) Interestingly, only a few colours are specifically mentioned, along with a couple of shin fuji colours. Ozo and shin fuji paint from that era played quite differently! Interesting they were both recalled.
Jumped on the new Sweets Prime drop and ordered myself the Tropical Grain Split. Can cross that off my list! Next up, most likely the @J-Swish pro mod!
Thinking about this kind of stuff starts to make my head spin. Too much amazing stuff out there that I don't have and haven't ever played. And there is probably a bunch that I don't even know about that I'm sure I'd want (for instance how many KendAlex kendamas have there been?) Then I realize I don't really need anymore kendamas. Then I think about how much I REALLY still want all kinds of kendamas, regardless. And then I think I might have a problem... Literally I can't answer this without having some kind of weird dama meltdown.
