I started somewhere in 2015 probably... I took a few breaks though, so 2 years might not be 100% true? But, I am slaying harder than ever right now, hoping to keep playing for more years to come
This is my first kendama, I believe it's a 90's sakura model. I was 12 at that time (2002)! Over the years I played it from time to time but I only knew 4 tricks (just cups and spike) and I didn't even know it was called a kendama until I stumbled upon the Vice article on @bonz atron in 2016 lol. I had no clue there was a whole community behind this. Anyway, I've been playing every day since then.. about 9 months : )
